We were a big fan of restaurant Belén, but changing times call for a different approach. That is why owner and chef Merel Charlotte Beelenkamp has opened Fundamental.restaurant as a temporary pop-up restaurant, which mainly focuses on vegetable dishes and natural wines. Before the restaurant opens its doors at the new location, it will be a pop-up on Middellandplein. They serve a four-course menu and are open for dinner on Friday and Saturday from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM and for lunch on Sunday from 12:00 PM.

After two and a half years of working as Barista's in Australia, where high quality is the standard for coffee, Zjevaun (barista champion in 2012) and Loes decided to continue their coffee adventure in the Netherlands. With the opening of Louise Petit restaurant, Loesje Tieleman wanted to bring a piece of France to Rotterdam. When you walk out of our door and go a hundred meters to the left, you will find Yama on your left - By far the best Japanese restaurant of Rotterdam. Here you can eat the most expensive, but also the best sushi in town. On Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, chef Hiroaki Yamamoto cooks for up to 25 people per evening. You can choose between a five and a seven course menu, which changes constantly. To be able to get a table, it is a must to reserve a few months in advance.
